JUST BE
Welcome to my blog! I chose the title Simply B for the simple fact that I was created to be no one else but the Brandon that God called me to be. For years I struggled with insecurity and daily faced a question that nearly dominated my mind: Am I okay being me? Insecurity can cripple a person who hasn't found their identity in Christ. We could all come up with a huge list of reasons why we're not good enough... not smart enough... not attractive enough... not athletic enough. But if we made another list of why we are good enough, it would be because of one name: Jesus. When we live in Him, breathe in Him, dwell in Him and trust in Him, then we are confident that He doesn't make mistakes. God makes masterpieces.
"For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so that we can do the good things he planned for us long ago." -Ephesians 2:10 (NLT)
We no longer have to pretend to be someone else. Isn't that great news?! Go ahead. Be you. Be the you God called you to be. Because that kind of you is good enough.
